Function

The Turntable Wheel Blasting Machine DB1250x500-1 is a rotary blast machine used for cleaning and treating metal workpieces. The blasting process aims at:

• Removing rust, paint and other contaminants.
• Improving surface quality and adhesion for further treatment.
• Increasing wear resistance and mechanical properties through peening.

The machine has a 1200 mm diameter rotary table with a maximum capacity of 500 kg, suitable for various applications in the metal industry.

Operation

The workpiece is placed on the turntable and fed into the blast chamber. The ‘Eeco’ blast turbine throws the abrasive onto the surface at high speed, resulting in thorough cleaning. The spent abrasive is collected and directed to the separator via a conveyor system, where it is cleaned and reused. A dust extraction system filters suspended particles from the air and contributes to a clean working environment. The robust construction with hard-wearing cladding minimises maintenance and extends the life of the machine.
